Ocean County Municipal Public Meetings
The LWV Ocean encourages its members to attend local municpal meetings as an observer. In doing so, members are
- Aware of the happenings in their local community
- Able to bring important issues to the attention of LWV members
Observers
Observers can only contribute or speak at these events if they live in that muncipality. If not, it is requested they refrain from commenting, but take notice or notes of issues that should be brought up at LWV General Meetings.
During each month's General Meeting, our members can report any pending community actions related to official LWV NJ or LWV US positions. This will allow our members to evaluate, discuss, and decide the best course of action to advocate for or against local initiatives.
