Thank you for your interest in joining the Voter Services Committee of the League of Women Voters of Ocean County. This committee plays a vital role in supporting and empowering voters through education, advocacy, and direct action. Your participation helps us ensure fair and informed elections throughout our community.

The Voter Services Committee meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 4pm. Meetings are virtual until further notice. 

Voter Services Committee Mission

The Voter Services Committee is dedicated to:

  • Promoting voter registration and participation in elections by attending local schools, colleges, community events, and other voter registration efforts. 

  • Organizing candidate forums and informational events for the community.

     

    • These include both in-person candidate forums 

    • And virtual platform candidate forums 
  •  

  • Promoting VOTE 411 by sharing with voters and encouraging all candidates to add their platform and share their positions with voters. 

  • Providing nonpartisan resources and support to voters of all backgrounds. 

  • Educating the public and youth about voting rights and election processes. including civics history, voting laws, timelines, and requirements for submitting their ballot.
